Abdul and I met 9 years ago at work. Because he is a hair stylist, I spent the first year thinking he was gay until one day we met for drinks and to shoot some pool. While playing pool he wanted to place a bet of "2" kisses, I thought "why, that's not fun for you" well after that my life changed. We spent the first couple of years off and on together, but each time we were apart for awhile we kept coming back to each other. We are definetly soul mates! We have so much in common and spend most of our time laughing together and enjoying each others company. We are both very stubborn and sarcastic and laugh that no one else would put up with ourselves.. I truly believe fate brought us together and we are going to spend the rest of our lives living, loving, and laughing together!

We are undecided at this time about the ceremony. We are leaning towards a persian ceremony. It's a very beautiful and interesting ritual. We think our guest will enjoy it.

The wedding reception will be close friends and family celebrating at the home of Stacys' parents.
We are trying to make it fun for everyone invited. Not a stuffy boring event.

We are going on a 7 day Carnival cruise out of Galvaston to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica a week after the wedding (10/10/10).

Abdul and I want to thank everyone in advance for all the well wishes. We know it already seems like we are married since we have been together for so long (and already live together), but we have finally decided to make it legal. If it were up to Abdul we would have done it a long time ago. Even though I have been married before, Abdul has not, and I don't want him to miss out on such an occassion.
